Farmers market season is upon us — now you can look through rows and rows of local vendors with food, drinks, handmade products and more while strolling through an iconic Tri-Cities location. The only question is which location, or locations, you’ll choose to check out.
The Tri-Cities area is home to a multitude of farmers markets, some located in historic places like Peanuts Park in Pasco and the Columbia River Warehouse. There are also newer thriving locations like Summer’s Hub in Kennewick.
Tri-Cities Farmers Markets
▪ Pasco Farmers Market - 426 W. Lewis St.
Every Saturday from May to October, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This downtown Pasco farmers market takes place under covered pavilions, providing shade when it’s hot and protection when it’s rainy. Find an abundance of vendors, offering seasonal fruits and vegetables, handmade goods, hot food and more. There are often live music performances as well.
▪ Downtown Kennewick Farmers Market - 10 E. Bruneau Ave.
Every Thursday from June to October, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
One of two farmers markets now held in the Columbia River Warehouse, the Downtown Kennewick Farmers Market is approaching its season with opening night June 6. Have dinner while enjoying a live performance, or browse the array of vendor tables. The market also accepts WIC and SNAP benefits through the Market Match program for up to $25.
▪ Richland Farmers Market - The Parkway and Lee Blvd.
Every Friday from June to October, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Richland Farmers Market is held at the historic Parkway, with a live musician at each end. The dog-friendly market is through the Richland Parkway Improvement Association, offering a large variety of artisanal food and drinks, plus handcrafted goods. The season opener is scheduled for June 7.
▪ Summers Hub Night Market - 6481 W. Skagit Ave.
Every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to the regular Summer’s Hub variety of food trucks, Wednesday nights will feature night markets starting in June. Find additional vendors, along with music and bingo all in one location.
▪ Public Market - 10 E. Bruneau Ave.
Year-round, Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Public Market is the second market held at the Columbia River Warehouse, this one inside. Find more than 40 vendors offering goods that originate from or were produced in Tri-Cities.
